Screen printing, also known as silk screening or silkscreen printing, is the process of transferring a stenciled design onto a surface using a mesh screen, ink, and a squeegee (a rubber blade). The basic process of screen printing involves creating a stencil on a mesh screen and then pushing the ink to create and imprint the design on the surface of the t-shirt. This is a very popular technique because of many reasons, but the most compelling reason is the vast choice of colors that can be used and the efficiency of creating screen print t-shirts is faster than other methods for bulk orders.

Embroidery, or monogram, refers to the process of using a professional industrial sewing machine to create a vector file of a logo into a readable drive to create the pattern onto the textile of the product. A person is needed with the technical skills to handle the machine and make sure production runs smoothly, after all, machines can still have faulty issues. An embroidered design, which is stitched straight into the fabric, is much more likely to take longer time during production and last for longer than a screen-printed design (which is printed on top of the fabric).
